Abstract

The increasing demand for sustainable energy solutions in maritime transportation has driven the development of hybrid power systems for ships. This review explores the advancements in energy management systems (EMS) designed to optimize hybrid power systems in marine vessels. Emphasis is placed on integration strategies, control methodologies, and the performance metrics of
these systems. Key findings highlight the potential of EMS to enhance fuel efficiency, reduce emissions, and improve operational reliability.
